Whistleblowing

The Finmasi Group, in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 24/2023, has set up a special confidential channel that may be used to report violations of national or European Union regulations that may occur within the company.

It is specified as of now that the reserved channels set out below must not be used to forward complaints, claims, requests of a personal nature or to report disputes between colleagues, internal organisational issues and similar situations.

In compliance with the regulatory provisions on whistleblowing, the Whistleblowing Procedure aims to provide a common discipline throughout the Finmasi Group on the procedures and prerequisites for making internal reports, as well as on the channel, procedures and prerequisites for making external reports.

In this regard, the Internal Reporting Channel has been identified in the Whistleblowing Platform.

The Finmasi Group therefore encourages anyone who becomes aware of violations (conduct, acts or omissions) of the law or of internal company protocols that are, even potentially, detrimental to the public interest or to the integrity of the Group, to make a report through the Whistleblowing Platform.

The Whistleblowing Platform is an IT tool which, also by means of an encryption system, guarantees the confidentiality of the identity of the whistleblower, the person involved and the person mentioned in the report, as well as the content of the report and the relevant documentation, enabling the competent office to communicate with the whistleblower by providing him/her with an acknowledgement of receipt of the report and feedback on the action taken or intended to be taken.

Reports may be made through the Whistleblowing Platform, either in written or oral form. For the latter, the whistleblower may alternatively attach an audio file or request a face-to-face meeting scheduled with the competent office.

For the purposes of handling the report, it is advisable for the reporting person to provide, in good faith, any useful element to allow the internal investigation to be carried out, also by transmitting, where available, supporting documentary evidence.

Finmasi guarantees protection from any act of retaliation against the reporting person for reasons directly or indirectly related to the report made in good faith. In any case, in order to protect everyone's dignity, honour and reputation, Finmasi is also committed to offering maximum protection from defamatory reports.

For more information on the procedures, methods and prerequisites for making reports, please refer to the Whistleblowing Procedure.
