COOKIE POLICY
(Provision of the Italian Privacy Guarantor of 8 May 2014 published in the Official Gazette No. 126 on 3 June 2014 to implement Directive 2002/58/EC) Cookies are small strings of text that websites visited by the user send to the user's computer terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored and then sent back to the same sites the next time the same user visits. In addition to cookies, other similar tools (web beacons/web bugs, clear GIFs or others) that enable user or terminal identification are also subject to the Guarantor's provision. While browsing a site, the user may also receive cookies sent by different sites or web servers (so-called 'third parties'), which may contain certain elements (such as images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) found on the site the user is visiting. Cookies are usually stored in users' browsers in very high quantities and sometimes have features that last very long in time. Cookies are used for different purposes: performing computer authentication, session monitoring, storing information on specific configurations concerning users accessing the server, etc. You can find more information about cookies on the site www.allaboutcookies.org. To properly regulate these devices, it is helpful to differentiate them - provided that there are no technical features that differentiate them from one another exactly because of the purposes intended by those who use them. This is why our legislation, implementing the provisions of Directive 2009/136/EC, has made it compulsory to obtain the prior and informed consent of users for the installation of cookies used for purposes other than purely technical ones.
